How do you calculate your profit in Forex or know your loss?

The subject is very easy, simple and uncomplicated

It simply depends on the size of the point in the deal and the number of points you have earned or lost

The profit and loss account equation is

Profit or loss is calculated as follows = (number of contracts * number of points) * point value

We have a practical example to make things clearer

Let's say you entered a 1 lot lot only at the top of the $ 10 point of the GBP pair

The price was so

GBP / USD = 1.4910

Then the price went up

GBP / USD = 1.4950

What is your profit or loss in this transaction

Now the value of the point must be glorified

As you can see, the price has changed to the highest of 40 points where the price has increased from

1.4910 to 1.4950

right Now

Calculate the equation

Number of contracts * Number of points * Point value

 1 * 40 * 10 USD

= 40 points * $ 10 = $ 400

This is the profit value of the transaction
